She diagnosed my long-term problem, and prescribed a medicine that cleared it up promptly. Her follow up visit provided me with helpful guidance for long-term cure. - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I went to Brenda Smith to have an in-office surgical procedure done. I was new to the area, and chose her blindly from a list of preferred doctors under my insurance. While I admit I should have done more research, I was in immediate need of the procedure and didn't have time to waste. They scheduled me promptly. However, when I arrived the office clerk was rude and very inattentive. They realized they had forgotten to tell me to take Ibuprofen before the visit, but did not offer me any at the office. Dr. Smith was friendly, but she talked and talked and never listened. As a young patient with a lot of questions, this is extremely frustrating. She provided more information than I was comfortable with regarding her political opinions, and lectured me about frustrations she had with sexually active individuals in my age group. It was unprofessional and inappropriate. The procedure was extremely painful and I had post-op side effects that were not fully explained and that left me bed-ridden for a few days. Concerned, I called her office but the front staff offered no explanation, nor solution. I have not returned and as a very young patient, the experienced has somewhat scarred me in many ways.
